ABOUT ME

My name is Vicky and I am an abstract/fluid artist living in Barcelona but I am from Australia but I was born in Hungary. I have been drawing since I was a child but I found my passion as an abstract artist when I moved to Spain.

My work has a strong energetic influence and my aim is to express the emotions that flow through us through both colour and pattern. My journey started with intuitive fluid art and evolved into abstract portraits depicting emotional stages we might travel through in our lifetime.

I use a wide range of mixed media to give my work depth. My biggest challenge as an artist is being a perfectionist. My eyes work with symmetry and flow and I often spends many hours working on my pieces until they look perfect in my eyes.

I believe that art is about the expression of 'self' and the portrayal of energy that moves through us. I believe all of my work is an accurate representation of my two sides - the side that lives in chaos vs the immense need for tranquility.
